In September 2018, The TTIFCMCL held a stakeholder engagement session, at which Senator The Honorable, Allyson West, Minister of Public Administration and Digital Transformation (then Minister in the Ministry of Finance) endorsed the thrust towards the creation of a FinTech Association.
This was followed by an Ideation workshop held at the Hyatt Regency, Trinidad and Tobago in December 2019. At that event, individuals from different sectors came together to discuss the topic of Financial Technology and how we can work together to improve the industry and by extension society.
To promote and develop a FinTech industry in Trinidad and Tobago by bringing together FinTech stakeholders and creating a collective voice for the said industry.
